Noida Sector 78 Residents Protest Against Builder Over Poor Upkeep and Lack of Basic Facilities.

This past weekend, residents of Sector 78, Noida, staged a protest against the Antriksh Golf View 2 constructor, citing insufficient upkeep, a dearth of basic amenities, and a failure to address long-standing civic issues.

Hundreds of locals protested inside the society's premises, calling on the builder and the Noida Authority to take immediate action. Despite receiving regular maintenance fees, they accused the developer of ignoring basic utilities including parking, sanitation, fire safety, and water supply.

Important Concerns Raised

• Water Crisis: Residents report that only roughly 650 of the more than 1,000 apartments have adequate water connections. The others depend on expensive private tankers that have been unreliable and of low quality.

• Poor Maintenance: Water leaks, broken walls, broken lifts, and neglected cleaning are among the complaints.

• Safety Concerns: According to reports, fire safety measures are still broken, putting families' security at grave risk.

• Pending Occupancy Certificate (OC): According to reports, the society does not currently have a valid OC, which gives inhabitants additional legal ambiguity.
